Material introduction:Acrylic & concrete.

Steps Material explored the relationship between completely unrelated materials (acrylic & concrete) to create a new material.

Cut the two materials, acrylic and concrete, into patterns and fragments of different rules in two different ways:

Transparent model: Arrange the concrete fragments freely and pour and fill with acrylic (liquid)

Opaque model: Arrange the acrylic fragments and pour and fill with concrete materials.

The mixture of concrete & acrylic materials collides to create new material sparks, retaining the light transmittance of acrylic and maximizing spatiality, while concrete can increase density and opacity. It forms a complementary structure and function to maximize the material of space.

Material application:
In order to use the landing materials, Steps Material created the furniture of Pinion Project together, creating a strong sense of atmosphere.
